Noam joined 1st Bassmasters in 1999, fishing as a non boater until 2002 when he purchased an 1989 18' Champion from Jay Medaugh, one of the founding members of the club. Noam takes pride in his angling improvement, which resulted in consecutive 2nd place finishes in 2002 & 2003. With the number of quality, experienced tournament anglers currently in the club, the already elusive Angler of the Year award will be that much harder to win.
Noam tries to fill out his annual fishing calendar with trips in pursuit of other species, such as trout, salmon, fluke, flounder, & striped bass. In addition to local waters, he has fly- fished the San Juan & Rio Grande Rivers in New Mexico for Trout, and taken several trips to Florida for Bass. With any luck, future destinations will include, Salmon fishing in Alaska, fishing California lakes for a shot at a 20lb Largemouth, and a trip to Mexico for some south-of-the-border Bass.
