Directions to Lake Lillinonah (Steel Bridge Launch):
From Rt 17 - Middletown

- Take I-84 E toward Newburgh - To Connecticut                60.1 mi
- Slight left onto US-7 N                                                         4.4 mi
- Take exit 12 for US-202 toward Brookfield                          0.3 mi
- Turn right onto US-202 E/Federal Rd                                  0.7 mi
- Turn right at 6 Nicoles St. onto CT-25 S/Whisconier Rd      1.7 mi
- Turn left onto CT-133 N/Obtuse Hill Rd                               3.0 mi
- CT-133 N/Obtuse Hill Rd will cross Steel Bridge - turn right into State
Launch.

Directions (from Middletown):

- Take Rt 17 East  to I-84 East. (you will be on I-84 for 84.6 mi)
- Merge onto CT-8 N via EXIT 20 on the LEFT toward TORRINGTON. (28.7 mi)
- CT-8 N becomes US-44/ CT-183/ MAIN ST.
- Turn LEFT on to Lake Road (Rt 263).
- Stay on Lake Road (LEFT at fork).
- Turn RIGHT onto West Lake Road to launch.

Directions to East Twin Lakes, CT

About 2 hours from Ellenville.

• From Rts 17, 52, 55 - Take 209 N. (you will be on 209 for about 30-40
minutes)
• 209 N becomes NY-199 E
• Turn LEFT onto NY-9G / NY-199.
• Continue to follow NY-199. For about 20-25 miles.
• Turn LEFT onto WINCHELL MOUNTAIN RD / CR-60.
• Turn SLIGHT RIGHT onto NY-22.
• Turn LEFT onto MAIN ST / US-44.
• Continue to follow US-44 (Crossing into CONNECTICUT). (about 6 miles)
• Turn SLIGHT LEFT onto UNDER MOUNTAIN RD / CT-41. (3.4 miles)
• Turn RIGHT onto BEAVER DAM RD. (1 mile)
• Turn LEFT onto TACONIC RD.
• Turn SLIGHT RIGHT onto TWIN LAKES RD.
• Turn RIGHT to stay on TWIN LAKES RD.

Directions to Lake Mahopac:

• Take NY-17 toward I-84.
• Take I-84 E via EXIT 121E toward NEWBURGH 46.5 miles
• Take the RT-312 exit- EXIT 19- toward CARMEL / BREWSTER. 0.2 miles
• Turn RIGHT onto NY-312. 1.0 miles
• Turn RIGHT onto US-6. 2.3 miles
• US-6 will take you down the East side of the lake (lake will be on your right)
• When you get to the south-east corner of the lake, McDonalds Marina is a right turn just past the CVS drug store.
• Total drive time should be under 1.5 hours from Middletown
